The company GreenWaves Technologies has been created today and the team moved in its new office at “Espace Bergès”, near Grenoble France.

The company aims to be a new player in the telecommunication market by providing disruptive communications for the IoT market.

GreenWaves Technologies is a fabless semiconductor startup.
Thanks to the strong expertise of its engineers in wireless technologies and parallel processor architecture, it delivers an energy efficient breakthrough communication solution for the IoT market forthcoming challenges. It is composed of :

• GAP8:an ultra low power parallel processor (12GOP/s @ 1/50th of state of the art power consumption);
• GreenOFDM: a high data rate transmission (1Mb/s @ 1/10th of state of the art power consumption;
• A set of libraries to develop any wireless modem up to 1Mb/s and applications processing data streams before meaningful information is sent to the Gateway.
